Erica Reiling is a contemporary abstract artist whose work explores the emotional resonance of color, memory, and place.
A sixth-generation Californian, Reiling's paintings are rooted in the visual language of the American West, drawing inspiration from the California coastline, the vast skies of the Southwest, and the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Through layers of acrylic, mineral earth pigments, and intuitive mark-making, she creates immersive paintings that capture shifting light, expansive horizons, and the emotional memory of place.
With a background in psychology and interior design, Reiling approaches painting through the lens of human experience, considering how color, scale, and composition shape emotion and perception. Her work bridges fine art and interior environments, resulting in paintings that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant.
To date, more than 75 original works have been acquired by private collectors. Her work has been exhibited internationally through art fairs in New York, Monaco, Paris, Marbella and Madrid, and has been featured in solo exhibitions in New York City. Reiling's work has also appeared in publications including Vogue and other leading art, design, and lifestyle outlets.
She lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
